Texas Business Loans
Texas has about 3.5 million small businesses and an economy of roughly $2.9 trillion, but an oilfield service company in Midland has very different financing needs from a Dallas general contractor or a Laredo trucking fleet. SMB Compass works with established Texas companies to structure financing from $25,000 to $5 million, structured around the way each business actually gets paid.
Business financing in Texas
SMB Compass provides financing for established businesses from $25,000 to $5 million, with funding in as little as 24 hours. Applying takes a few minutes and won’t affect your credit score.

Financing for Texas industries
Where we see the most demand for business financing in Texas.
Oil and gas services
Service companies in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford invoice operators on long terms and carry heavy equipment costs, and their workload rises and falls with commodity prices. Financing against operator receivables and equipment gives them working capital that tracks the work they have already done, not just the latest bank covenant test.
Small businesses in Texas’s mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction sector employ 86,005 people. (source)
Common fits: Invoice Financing · Asset-Based Loans · Equipment Financing
Construction
Construction is the third-largest small-business employer in Texas, and fast-growing metros keep contractors bidding on more work than their cash can carry at once. A line of credit and invoice financing bridge progress billing and retainage, while equipment financing adds machines without a large down payment.
Small businesses in Texas’s construction sector employ 523,448 people. (source)
Common fits: Business Line of Credit · Invoice Financing · Equipment Financing
Trucking and freight
Carriers hauling along the I-35 and I-10 corridors and through the border crossings at Laredo and El Paso often wait weeks for shippers and brokers to pay. Invoice financing turns delivered loads into fuel and payroll money, and equipment financing keeps tractors and trailers current.
Small businesses in Texas’s transportation and warehousing sector employ 183,034 people. (source)
