David Bueno is a Managing Partner of SMB Compass. In addition to his management responsibilities, he leads the firm’s lender and partnership coverage along with general debt advisory services. David’s unique relationships with clients and partners provides breadth to SMB Compass a distinctive approach. David is an experienced capital markets professional with experience in complex, distressed, and time-sensitive situations. His background includes sourcing and structuring secured and unsecured capital solutions. David has structured and reviewed over $2.5 Billion in total loan transactions and transacted with over 400 companies. Most of his clients have been companies with annual revenues of $1MM-$300MM…..
While his career path has granted him to have an industry agnostic view, he’s seen a high number of Industrial-based companies and business services companies that serve the C&I space. Some of these include specialty manufacturers, staffing companies, wholesale & distributors, and specialty finance companies. This large swath of company groupings allows him to align with a diverse set of companies that are seeking tailored financing solutions. As a debt advisor he’s advised both clients and lenders with a true pulse on proper marketplace transactions. The typical transactions he’s managed include situations like; Turnaround Financings, Refinancing’s, Bank Exits or Workouts, and Early Stage Financings.
